Our Total Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the appearance, fit or feel of your furniture within 30 days, you are entitled to a one-time exchange or refund. All returned merchandise must be in the original condition as when purchased. A valid receipt is required. Applicable delivery fees on exchanges or returns will be charged to you. Guarantee does not apply to linens, Protect-All protectors, special order items or AS IS, Outlet and Clearance merchandise.
Mattress and Pillow Purchases
Our satisfaction guarantee is 120 nights for mattresses and pillows provided a Protect-All protector is purchased for each item. Because it can take time to adjust to the feel of a new mattress or pillow, you should sleep on them for a minimum of 30 nights. After that time, if you are not comfortable, we will be happy to assist you with a one-time reselection. Applicable delivery fees on exchanges or returns will be charged to you. A valid receipt is required. Guarantee does not apply to adjustable lifestyle power bases, special order sizes (twin XL, full XL and California King), AS-IS, or Clearance merchandise.
Clearance and AS-IS Merchandise
Designated Clearance and AS-IS merchandise may be returned for store credit within 24 hours of purchase provided it is in the same condition as sold. Otherwise, all sales are final. Unless otherwise noted, manufacturer warranties and our Total Satisfaction Guarantee do not apply.
Special Order Merchandise
A non-refundable down payment is required on all special order merchandise. In the event of defect or damage, our Service Team will work with you to correct the problem. Please remember that special order merchandise is being created just for you; estimated arrival times are approximate and not guaranteed.
Our Low Price Guarantee
Our goal is to provide you with the very best value around. If, within 30 days
of your purchase, you find a local competitor offering a lower price on the same
or comparable displayed item, we will refund the difference after verification
of the other store’s price and product availability. Guarantee applies to the
delivered price for in-stock, comparable items of the same brand. If for any
reason we are unable to match the price, we’ll give you $100 back.
If You Need Service
Slumberland is committed to your satisfaction. If you have any concerns about the
condition of your merchandise, our team of service professionals will address your
claim according to the following guidelines:
While we take every step possible to handle your merchandise with care, damage
can occasionally occur during shipping or handling. Please inspect your
purchase promptly after you receive it and report any visible damage within 5
days to our Service Department. After 5 days, any applicable delivery, service
and repair fees will be charged to you.
Slumberland guarantees 90 days of free service on merchandise with manufacturing
defects. Please report any defects to our Service Department within 90 days of
delivery. After 90 days, any applicable delivery and service fees will be
charged to you.
Upon receiving a claim, we will work with you to determine the appropriate
course of action which may include one or more of the following: 1) inspect
damaged merchandise in your home 2) provide service in your home or our
warehouse at our discretion 3) repair or replace the part or merchandise at our
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WARRANTIES:
Please read and retain all information provided by individual manufacturers for
care and handling of specific products to ensure warranty validity. Warranties
do not apply and/or will be voided in any conditions caused by damage, improper
use, insufficient care, or abuse occurring after the date of sale to the
KEEP IN MIND:
1. Upholstery – Dye lots on display fabrics and sample swatches may vary
slightly from the products actually delivered by the manufacturer. Because
leather is a natural material, surface marks and color variances are a sign the
leather is genuine.
2. Wood products – Wood solids and veneers show unique variations in grain
pattern on the same piece of furniture. Blemishes and imperfections are innate
to real wood surfaces and demonstrate authenticity.
3. Accessories – Please carefully inspect all pictures, lamps and other
accessories before you leave the store. We do not service take-with accessory
4. Warranties – Slumberland honors extended manufacturer warranties and will
provide professional service in the event of any claims. Applicable
transportation and service fees will be charged to you.
Cash and check payments will be refunded by check; refunds of check payments
will be issued a minimum of 10 business days after receipt of initial payment.
Bankcard payments will be credited back to the bankcard from which original
payment was made. If that card cannot be produced, you have the option of
receiving a Slumberland Gift Card in the refund amount, or leaving the balance
“On Account” with Slumberland. Financed payments will be refunded to your Wells
Fargo Slumberland card. If that account has been closed, or the balance has been
paid off, Wells Fargo will be responsible for issuing a refund. Service and
delivery fees are non-refundable. Please note: There are no refunds on
mattresses, power bases, bed pillows, Protect-All protectors, Clearance items
and AS IS items. If your mattress or pillow reselection under our 120 night
guarantee is of greater or lesser value than the original purchase, the
difference will be charged to you or applied to a store credit, respectively.
Should you find it necessary to return your mattress or pillow purchase, store
credit (less delivery charges) will be issued.
Home Delivery Item(s)
Our delivery professionals are committed to getting your purchase into your home
safely and with care. To help us achieve our goal, there are a few things you
can do in preparation:
1. Remove pictures, mirrors, plants, breakable items and tables from the
delivery path and destination room.
2. Have the set-up area for the new furniture clear of other furniture and
3. When measuring for fit, consider doorway, stairway and hall space as well as
the destination room itself.
IF YOU CANNOT BE HOME FOR YOUR DELIVERY:
1. Leave a key in a safe place. After the delivery, our delivery team will lock
the key in your home.
2. A neighbor, apartment manager or family member could help. If you choose this
option, we need his/her address and/or phone number.
3. Upon request, our delivery team can call you one hour before reaching your
home to give you time to meet them.
Hours for customer pickups vary by location. Please check with your store for
details. Before picking up your purchase at the store or warehouse, please call
the number provided by your sales associate at least one hour ahead and let us
know you are coming. Your phone call will help us verify that your merchandise
is ready and minimize potential waiting time for you.
