Slumberland is proud to offer for purchase the Furniture Care Warranty Program to protect your new furniture from the common accidental stains and damages listed below in the Furniture Care Warranty. The Furniture Care Warranty Program must be purchased prior to the delivery of any new merchandise. Please contact your local Slumberland Furniture store for details.
 

The "Furniture Care Warranty Program" (hereinafter the "Warranty") is effective for five (5) years from the date the consumer(s) named on the original receipt (hereinafter the "Consumer") takes delivery. Furniture Care warrants that its furniture protection products are designed to prevent permanent stains or other damage to the parts of furniture treated with such products subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.

Furniture Covered By This Warranty
Upholstered residential furniture (fabric, aniline & protected leather or vinyl) and mattresses.

Warranty Coverage Includes
Food and beverage stains
Stains from human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid or blood
Ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon or facial cosmetics
Color transfer from blue jeans or newspaper

Leather & Vinyl Product Warranty Coverage Also Includes:
Burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat
Rips or tears except along seam lines
Nail polish

How To Obtain Service
Within five (5) days of the stain or damage, contact Furniture Care toll-free at (800) 505-9339.

When Calling For Service Consumer Must Have:
The original receipt showing Consumer’s purchase of the furniture protection product and the treated furniture(s)
The original copy of this Warranty
The original delivery date of the treated furniture
The date the stain or damage occurred

How The Limited Warranty Works
If Consumer’s treated & warranted furniture becomes accidentally stained or damaged as described above during normal RESIDENTIAL
use and Consumer cannot correct the stain or damage with our prescribed products and/or procedures, Furniture Care will, at its
discretion, clean, repair or replace the affected portion of the damaged furniture, replace the damaged furniture or provide a merchandise voucher equal to the original
purchase price of the damaged furniture. Furniture Care will not replace or provide any compensation for matching pieces of furniture
and consumer may not exchange any part of a merchandise voucher for cash. Merchandise vouchers must be redeemed at the location
designated by Furniture Care within six (6) months of the issue date. A furniture item acquired with a merchandise voucher is not covered
by this warranty. Furniture Care is not responsible for dye lot or texture variations and its obligations under this Warranty shall not exceed
$15,000 in aggregate.

The Service Process
Furniture Care may provide free professional stain removal, repair advice and/or products to aid in the cleaning or repair of the stained or damaged area of furniture(s).
If the stain or damage persists, Furniture Care may arrange for in-home service by a professional technician at no charge.
If Furniture Care’s designated technician determines that stain removal or damage repairs must occur off-site, the damaged furniture will be removed and returned at no cost.
If Furniture Care chooses not to replace the affected area, a merchandise voucher equal to the original purchase price of the damaged furniture may be issued. The issuance of a merchandise voucher for the damaged furniture ends coverage for the damaged piece(s).
Service or replacement is limited to the affected furniture items only.
Furniture Care is not responsible for dye lot or texture variations.
Replacement selection must be made at the location specified by Furniture Care.

Important Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:
Anything not specifically listed in the "Warranty Coverage" section.
Pre-existing stains and/or damage noted at the time of sale.
Damage and/or stains resulting from transit of treated furniture.
Failure to comply with the treated furniture’s manufacturer warranty.
Willful abuse or misuse.
Stains from dye, caustic solution, bleach, felt tip marker, tobacco products,chewing gum.
Stains from unknown origin.
Generalized or accumulated soiling. Soiling or damage from normal use, body oil, hair oil, perspiration. Darkened areas where head and legs contact furniture.
Cracking, peeling or scratching from wear or tear, maintenance and/or everyday use.
Any pet stains or damage not described in the “Warranty Coverage” section including from beaks, claws, or teeth.
Odors, fading, or color loss and/or discoloration.
Stains from incontinence.
Any "X" coded and/or non-color fast fabrics.
Any costs or damage from repair and/or cleaning by anyone without written authorization from Furniture Care.
Any damage by products not used according to product instructions.
All natural characteristics that cause appearance variations.
Rips, tears, burns of fabric or failure or loosening of threads or separation of seams along seam lines.
Consequential or incidental damages, except those expressly covered herein; personal injury damages.
Lost profits, lost savings, or other economic damages.
Loss of use of the treated furniture(s).
Furniture in storage, utilized for commercial use, non-residential, rental or in-home day care businesses.
Damage from prolonged exposure to fire or heat or smoke.
Damage from fraud, intentional acts, war, hostilities, terrorism or vandalism and acts of God.

Important Information
This Warranty is not renewable or transferable and does not supersede any warranty provided by the manufacturer of the treated
furniture(s). If the treated furniture(s) is/are not maintained as required by the furniture manufacturer warranty or Consumer does
not cooperate with Furniture Care’s reasonable requests in its efforts to perform its obligations, this Warranty becomes void. Furniture
Care’s failure to exercise certain rights under this Warranty does not waive those rights. Technicians referred to in this Warranty may be
independent contractors of and not employees of Furniture Care. Furniture Care assumes no responsibility for statements or claims made by technicians, or anyone other than Furniture Care employees. Furniture Care assumes no liability, incidental to or in connection with, services provided by its independent contractors. Any provision contained herein which is found to be contrary to state or local laws shall be deemed null and void and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Slumberland Furniture may alter these terms at any time.
