What Size Mattress Should You Buy?

Once you find a mattress that matches your comfort preference, ensure it also fits your room. Slumberland carries a full line of mattress sizes.

Standard mattress measurements are:

• Twin-size mattress: 39 inches wide by 75 inches long
• Twin XL size mattress: 39 inches wide by 80 inches long
• Full-size mattress: 54 inches wide by 75 inches long
• Queen-size mattress: 60 inches wide by 80 inches long
• King-size mattress: 76 inches wide by 80 inches long
• California king-size mattress: 72 inches wide by 84 inches long

Full and queen-size mattresses are always top sellers. Get a full, queen, or king mattress if you have a sleeping partner. Twin XL mattresses are ideal for bigger kids and adults when space is an issue.

How Long do Mattresses Last?

Typically, we recommend you replace your mattresses every six to eight years. The durability varies by type. Memory foam and hybrid mattresses can often last up to 10 years without comfort concerns. Innerspring mattresses may require replacement by the eighth year for optimal support.

How Are Our Mattresses Delivered?

Our mattresses are typically delivered in a box. We have three delivery options when you buy a mattress online:

• In-Store Pickup at a nearby Slumberland location
• No-Contact Doorstep Delivery for FREE in local delivery zones
• Full-Service Delivery including assembly and mattress removal

What is Our Mattress Return Policy/Warranty?

365-night Total Satisfaction Guarantee: When you buy both a mattress and mattress protector from Slumberland, you get 365 nights to confirm your satisfaction. Learn about the terms here.

• 30 Nights. A new mattress has an adjustment period. To qualify for the 365-night sleep guarantee, you must sleep on your mattress for a minimum of 30 nights. This allows both your body and mattress to adjust.
• After 30, and up to 365, nights: If you are unhappy with the comfort, size, or height of your mattress set, a one-time reselect is available. A $99 re-select fee applies. No refunds. Applicable delivery fees also apply. One exchange per household.
