Why Get a Stationary Sectional?
+ -Sectionals are great because they offer versatility in configurations and seating options. Slumberland's sectional selection also includes a vast assortment of styles and colors.
Stationary sectionals in particular are more durable because they have less moving parts than reclining sectionals. They are also more affordable.

How Do I Choose the Right Size Sectional for My Living Room?
+ -There are some things to consider before buying:
- Room Layout and Size: Do you have enough room for a full-size with a left chaise or sofa bed? Or does your living room need something smaller? When measuring your available space, consider where you want the armrests facing.
- Shape: If you choose an L-shaped sectional, know if it's left-facing or right-facing. U-shaped sectionals offer the most capacity. They are especially great for group conversation. Also, consider if you want a chaise to extend your legs.
- Style: Consider your home decor and match the sectional to it. We carry a variety of styles and materials.
- Features: The last thing to think about is the features you want. Do you want cupholders, a console, or a sofa bed? Do you like having the adjustable headrest?
How Are Sectionals Measured?

How Are Sectionals Measured?
+ -- Width: This is the longest side. You can find the width by measuring along the back of the sofa.
- Length: You measure the length from the back of the sofa to the end of whichever section is the farthest forward.
- Depth: You measure the depth between the front of the back cushion and the front of the seat. This lets you know how much room there is to lean back.
The average is about 130 inches wide. A smaller, two-piece sectional is about 112 inches wide. A large, three-piece sectional measures about 160 inches or more.
