Starting out with the Foundry chifforobe is a great idea for many reasons. First and foremost is the longevity factor—this bedroom chifforobe will serve your child from infancy through the teen years. Solid wood drawer boxes have English dovetail construction, so you know this cabinet will last. There is one large drawer on the bottom with four smaller drawers above on the left. Above on the right is a sliding door that opens to reveal a clothing rod and two adjustable shelves. Second is the style—it’s modern industrial but with the timeless elegance of inset panel wood design. Metal pull handles on the large drawer and door add to the classic character, as do the metal insets in the small drawers and the barn-door style metal door slider.
